darttournament.app is software for drawing and running a night of darts: groups, fixtures, results, standings and a knockout bracket, with a screen for the projector and entry on phones by the boards.

These terms apply as soon as you create an account or take out a plan.

The plans and prices are on the pricing page. All amounts include VAT. A single night is paid per tournament; the club plan runs for a year.

Prices can change, but never retroactively: what you have paid for stays valid for the period you paid for.

A club plan ends after a year and does not renew by itself. You are told in good time and you actively renew, or you do not. There is no notice period, because there is nothing to give notice on.

Buying as a consumer, you have fourteen days to change your mind. If you ask us to start straight away and you use the product within those fourteen days, that right lapses for the part you have already used — that is how the law works and we point it out at checkout.

If you have not started within those fourteen days, you get your money back.

We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance is scheduled outside Friday and Saturday evenings, because that is when darts happens.

If the service goes down during a tournament you have paid for, you get that tournament back or your money back. That is what we can do; we do not compensate consequential loss such as a ruined evening or disappointed entrants.

The names, results and tournaments you enter are yours. You can export them as a file at any time, including after the event and including after you stop paying. We use them only to provide the service.

How we handle them is in the privacy statement.

Your account is for you or your club. Reselling it or offering it as your own service is not allowed. Neither is trying to bring the service down, reaching other people's tournaments, or pulling data off the servers by any route other than the software itself.

If that happens we may block the account. Where it looks like a misunderstanding, we get in touch first.

The offline edition runs on your own laptop. You get a licence for your own use — for you or your club, on as many laptops as you need within that circle. Distributing or reselling it is not allowed.

Because it runs on your device, keeping your tournaments safe there is your responsibility. The software makes backups automatically, but they sit on that same laptop.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months. Not because we want to hide behind it, but because the sum at stake should bear some relation to what the service costs.

That limit does not apply in cases of intent or wilful recklessness on our part.

If we change these terms in a way that works out badly for you, we tell you at least thirty days beforehand. If you do not agree, you may stop and you get back the unused part of your period.

Complaints go to support@dartstournament.app. You get a substantive answer within fourteen days. If we cannot resolve it together, Dutch law applies.
